Fireworks July 3 The famous Block Island Fireworks Display launches from Crescent beach at approx. 9pm. | July 4th Parade July 4 Parade route starts at Legion Park at 11:30am and ends at the statue of Rebecca in Old Harbor. Live music and great floats! Theme for 2009: Favorite Patriotic song or event. For more information call the Visitor's Center at 1-800-383-2474. | Blues on the Block July 8 Come watch a free concert on the beach! Otis and the Hurricanes will preform at the Town Beach at 6pm. Free parking. Bring your beach chairs or blankets and bring your family...this is a kid friendly event! | Block Island Artist Guild Fair July 11 This annual fair is held on the lawn of the Historical Society from 9am-2pm.
